Adèle Euphrasie Barbier was born in Normandy, France, on the 4th of January 1829, the child of Louis-Désiré Barbier, a shoemaker, and his wife, Jeanne Adèle Le Cler.
Euphrasie founded the Mission Sisters Christmas Day in 1861. They arrived in NZ 1864 and set up schools to help educate all people especially woman and children who were marginalised.
Euphrasie Barbier was confident, brave, inspiring and generous.
I can be like Euphrasie Barbier by inspiring my friends an dpeole around me to do the right thing.
Hello Asinate I really like the way you can use descriptive words. I think next time you should put your photo on the bottom so we can read it better. Good job keep it up.
ReplyDeleteTalofa Asinate I can see how Euphrasie Barbier changed the world! Next time try using Google Drawings for it! And maybe add some fonts to it so it can stand out.
