As the boat is moving side to side my head hits a box and luggage. People are talking, snoring, walking and sleeping.

Asinate, you have begun to develop a creative piece of writing. I love some of your imagery - "people are shaking full of hunger" paints an image of a large tummy filled with air/nothing (starvation.) I think your ideas could be extended and developed to create a very moving response to this picture.
